Cloud House Core Values
Cloud House Therapies — Core Values
At Cloud House Therapies we believe every person has the right to be seen, heard and supported to reach their goals. We combine compassion, clinical skill and creative modalities — from art therapy and somatic work to mindfulness, movement and nature-based practices — to co-create therapeutic pathways that are as unique as each person. We work with integrity, clear boundaries and a deep belief in potential.
1. Unconditional Positive Regard & Belief in Potential
We meet people where they are and hold a steady belief in their capacity to heal and grow.
How this looks:
-
We accept each person’s goals as valid and important.
-
We celebrate small steps and reframe setbacks as part of the journey.
2. Kindness, Compassion & Presence
Kindness is central — we practise patience, genuine care and emotionally safe presence.
How this looks:
-
Sessions are paced to the person’s needs; we slow down when needed.
-
We use warmth and curiosity rather than judgement.
3. Integrity & Authenticity
No fake smiles or performance — we show up honestly and do what we say we will.
How this looks:
-
Open, transparent communication about processes, fees and limits.
-
Therapists model self-awareness and speak honestly when something isn’t working.
4. Co-creation & Meaningful Engagement
Therapy is a collaboration — plans are created with each person, not imposed.
How this looks:
-
Goals, activities and progress checks are regularly reviewed and reshaped together.
-
We adapt methods (art, movement, breath work, massage, narrative therapy, etc.) to fit the person rather than expecting the person to fit the method.
5. Flexibility with Healthy Boundaries
We are flexible and creative, and we also teach and model clear, fair boundaries so people can feel safe.
How this looks:
-
Individualised session formats (in-studio, outreach, online) while maintaining consistent terms of service.
-
Gentle, consistent enforcement of limits — explained collaboratively and respectfully.
6. Holistic, Skilled Practice
We combine evidence-informed, professional modalities into a uniquely tailored pathway for each person.
How this looks:
-
Integrating art therapy, somatic work, mindfulness, movement, sound and other modalities in ways that suit the client.
-
Ongoing professional development to ensure high quality, trauma-aware care.
7. Responsibility & Continuous Learning
We take responsibility for the quality of our care and learn from feedback to improve.
How this looks:
-
We invite and act on feedback from clients and partners.
-
We reflect on outcomes, adapt practice, and maintain supervision and training.
