“Angela worked with my young son in her personally established 'Leave No Emotion Behind Program'. Together they created a personalised emotional regulation book to assist my son to identify and honour his emotions. Angela travelled to our home to work with my son. We always looked forward to her warm, compassionate and bubbly company and therapeutic practices. Angela tailored her work within our home environment and assisted us in making calm, comfortable, sensory areas in our home and taught us age-appropriate art therapy practices. She helped my son identify different emotions, where/how he feels them in his body, healthy ways to express them, then practices he can use to ground himself. These practices were his own designed "animal magic" practices to calm himself. On completion of Angela's therapeutic work with my son, she independently published their work together, for my son, in his own book. Now he is able to refer to his special edition book to remind himself, and consolidate ways, to identify emotions, honour them and regulate his system by using his "animal magic" when he needs.
